Procedure

Prepare the potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices (3-4 mm).

Blanch them in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain them.

Assemble the cake

Butter a baking dish and make a first layer of potatoes.

Add salt, pepper, a little milk and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Make a second layer with potatoes, diced mozzarella and more parmesan.

Continue until you run out of ingredients.

Cooking

Pour the remaining milk over the cake.

Sprinkle with plenty of grated cheese and a few flakes of butter.

Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 35-40 minutes, until the surface becomes golden and crispy.

Serve

Let it rest for 5 minutes out of the oven before cutting and serving.
